Fashion Sakala, Daka watch from the bench as Rangers, Leicester City advance to last 16

Zambia duo Fashion Sakala and Patson Daka watched from the bench as their respective clubs progressed to the last 16 in Europe.

Sakala, who missed the 4-2 win first leg had to be contend with a place on the bench alongside on loan Manchester United winger Amad Diallo.

The match ended 2-2, as Rangers advanced the last 16 via a 6-4 aggregate.

The 24 year old Zambian was unused substitute.

UEFA Europa Conference League

Leicester City registered a 3-1 away win over Randers in Denmark to qualify to the last -16 with a 7-2 aggregate success.

The foxes were backed by over 600 travelling fans.

Leicester’s European leading scorer Patson Daka was unused substitute.

Exit in the hard way

Edward Chilufya’s new club Midtjylland were dumped out of the UEFA Europa Conference League after loosing 5-3 on penalties to Greek side Paok.

The Dannish side travelled to Greece with a 1-0 aggregate from the first leg but suffered a 2-1 defeat on Thursday night.

With an aggregate of 2-2, the tie had to be settled on penalties.

While the other new signings have been involved with team, Chilufya has been missing from match day squads.
