Face-off: Tabitha Chawinga vs Barbara Banda as China Women’s League enters round 5
Zambia Women’s national team captain Barbara Banda this morning returns to action as the China Taiping CFA Women’s Super League enters round 5 if action.
Banda and her Shanghai Shengli teammates are facing their toughest challenge yet as they come up against defending Champions, Jiangsu Suning led by Malawian star forward Tabitha Chawinga.

It will be the first time the two came face to face in a match since Barbara Banda moved to China back in January.
The Copper Queens skipper has been impressive so far this season with five goals in four games and two assists to her name making her the overall top goalscorer in the league with Chawinga in close second with four goals.
The former Bauleni United Sports Academy and Green Buffaloes Women’s football club player has scored in every game she has played so far and will be looking to continue on that path.
Her team, Shengli has also won all their four games so far this season and lead the log while Sunning was handed a 3-0 bashing by Wuhan Jiangda in round 3.
