Former ZESCO United striker Enock Sakala Jnr scored his first goal for Chippa United opening his goal scoring account since his switch to the club.
The Zambian forward helped Chippa United make it two wins in a row in the Betway Premiership when they claimed a 2-1 victory over AmaZulu FC at the Buffalo City Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Sakala put the Chilli Boys in front in the 19th minute as the 22-year-old attacker found the net in his full debut for the Eastern Cape side.
Aviwe Mqokozo set up Craig Martin, who hit the back of the net to make it 2-0 to Chippa. It was the former Orlando Pirates star’s second goal of the season.
Tshepang Moremi netted his fourth goal of the campaign to make it 2-1, heading into the halftime break in East London.
The Chili Boys held on to win the game. The win left the Chilli Boys in the ninth spot in the standings – three points behind sixth-placed Polokwane City.
