Kenyan Champions Gor Mahia and Tusker are among the clubs interested in veteran striker Jesse Jackson Were.
Others interested in Were are Tanzania’s Azam and Kampala City Council Authority, KCCA of Uganda.
The 32-year old was recently released by Zambian side Zesco United.
It brings to an end yet another chapter for Were and Zesco after a hugely successful first stint at the club.
The Kenyan striker joined Zesco in 2016 having been the top scorer in the Kenyan Premier League, after bagging 22 goals for Tusker FC.
He went on to enjoy cult status as he became the first player to score over 100 goals for the Zambian giants.
Were won 4 Super League titles and 2 ABSA Cups at Zesco United as one of the best foreign acquisitions to have graced the local league in the last 2 decades.
Were had a prolific career at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium scoring 108 goals making him Zesco United’s all time leading scorer.
Zesco United has parted ways with 10 players including Nathan Sinkala, Mpho Mathekgane and Kelvin Kapumbu.
