EAGLES EYE FIRST ABSA CUP TITLE… CHIYANGI ANTICIPATES TOUGH TIE AGAINST YOUNG EAGLES
Green Eagles head coach Aggrey Chiyangi says his team is aiming at going all the way and winning the 2020 ABSA Cup.
The Kawale Boys will face their sister club Young Green Eagles in the quarter-finals and Aggrey Chiyangi is anticipating a tough match but he is confident his team will be triumphant.
“We want to go all the way and win it because a cup you have to focus on winning it not just ending somewhere. We, however, have to start where it starts and win the quarter-final, semi and then the final,” Chiyangi told ZamFoot TV.
“Since football started, everywhere in the World when you face a team that’s like a brother to you, The young ones always give the bigger brother a problem but we know what we are going to do so that even if they give us a problem, We are going to be victorious at the end of the day,” he added.
The quarter-finals will be played on 21st March and 22nd March at Nkoloma with the semi-finals set for Arthur Davies Stadium on 9th May. The final will take place at Heroes Stadium on 13th June.
The other Quarterfinals matches will see defending Champions and record 6-time Champions Zesco United will face their city rivals Forest Rangers while 2018 Champions Nkana will battle it out with rivals Kitwe United
