Desperate Maramba host frustrated Jetters
The People’s Maramba Stars who are currently going through a rough patch will return to action this afternoon when they welcome Kalomo Jetters at St. Raphaels School Ground.
Both Maramba Stars and Kalomo Jetters will need more than luck and maybe a bit of divine intervention as they desperately seek to save their dwindling fortunes in this season’s Faz Division One Zone Four League.
While stars have lost their top four position having started with a first-place position in the season, the people’s team are dropping slowly into the relegation net as they sit 10th on the table and unless they are able to turn things around, they could have a very disappointing season.
On the other hand Kalomo are a shadow of themselves as they find themselves in 13th place on 14 points on the table 2 points above the relegation slot.jetters have jast won 3 games and lost 8 in the 16 games played so far and the latest being a 1-1 draw away to shockers making it their 5th draw.
As fate will have it, they meet each other in their desperate moment, in a match which is a must-win for both of them if they are to give hope to their fans and push for Zone Four honours.
Coincidentally, both sides who meet at St Raphaels, have changed their coaches but it has not brought in the expected results yet. Nonetheless they will be hoping for a change in fortunes and results.
It’s going to the wire…….
