Copper Queens skipper preaches confidence and self-belief to U20 ahead of South Africa showdown
Copper Queens captain Misozi Zulu has preached about Self-Confidence in the Zambia Under-20 National Women’s Team camp as they shaping for this weekend’s FIFA 2020 preliminary round qualifier first leg match against South Africa.
Speaking in an interview with the ZamFoot Crew at OYDC in Lusaka yesterday after a fellowship with the team, Zulu who has been inspiring the U20 training camp this time around encouraged the girls to come out in full force and believe in God that they can do it.
“We were praying and encouraging the team about the game which they will be playing this weekend against South Africa, that they should have confidence and force when they are in possession of the ball and believing in God that they will do it,” Zulu told the ZamFoot Crew.
The Junior Copper Queens are under the tutelage of Coach Charles Haalubono who has named his final 20 member squad are currently in Camp preparing for this Saturday’s crucial preliminary round 2020 FIFA U20 World Cup Qualifier match against Batsetsana of South Africa.
Meanwhile, South Africa Under-20 is expected in the country this afternoon and will arrive at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport at 15:15hrs to set up base at Southern Sun Hotel ahead of a decisive battle against Zambia which promises to be a mouthwatering encounter.
The Junior Copper Queens and Batsetsana will lock horns on Saturday 18th January 2020 at Nkoloma Stadium with kick-off at 15:00hrs(CAT)
