Copper Queens duo named in Zaragoza CFF squad to face S.E. AEM
Zambia Women’s national team duo of strikers Hellen Mubanga and Rachel Nachula have been named in Zaragoza CFF 17 member squad to face S.E. AEM Feminí in a rescheduled week 2 encounter of the Spanish Segunda División Femenina.
The match was initially scheduled for 25th October but multiple positive COVID-19 cases in the Zaragoza CFF squad forced the powers that be to postpone the match.

Mubanga who has struggled with an ankle injury since moving to the Estadio Pedro Sancho will be looking to make her debut for Zaragoza CFF having missed the 1-1 draw to Osasuna back in October.

Nachula on the other hand will be making her second appearance in the Second Division of Spanish Women’s football having made her debut against Osasuna, A match in which she scored her first goal for the club to help them rescue a point.
Nachula joined the Spanish side after a stellar performance with the Zambia Women’s national team helping them to silver at COSAFA last year scoring 10 goals in the process and playing a big part in the qualification to the Olympics. She was also a pivotal member of the Green Buffaloes Women’s side that has dominated the Zambian Women’s football scene in the last six years.
Mubanga on the other hand was the player of the tournament at the 2019 COSAFA Women’s Championship and also scored the winning goal in the qualification to the Olympics.
The match will kick-off at noon Central African time at the Camp Municipal Recasens.
