Clatous Chama on target …Action for Lubambo Musonda, Evans and Klings Kangwa
A number of Zambian players abroad were in action this weekend as selected leagues across the globe continue to light up the football world under the new normal.
In Tanzania Clatous Chota Chama was on target for Simba as they humiliated rivals Yanga SC in the Kariakoo derby.
In Russia, Midfield ace Klings Kangwa put in a full shift while striker Evans Kangwa played 61 minutes as Arsenal Tula returned to winning ways beating Tambov 2-1 in a Russian Premier League week 28 encounter.
Wing-wizard Lameck Banda was an unused substitute.
Vladislav Panteleev opened the scores from the spot in the 20th minute before Tambov could level matters ten minutes into the second stanza after Mikhail Kostyukov struck from close range.
Golden boot chasing Evgeni Lutsenko secured the win 6 minutes to full time with a close-range finish at the far post scoring his 14th goal of the season. Next for Tula is a trip to Ural on Wednesday.
In Poland, Winger come defender Lubambo Musonda put in a 74-minute shift as Śląsk Wrocław surrendered a 2-1 lead to draw 2-2 against Pogoń Szczecin as their Polish Ekstraklasa winless run stretched to three games in a row.
In Sweden, Midfielder Emmanuel Banda was an unused substitute in Djurgådens IF’s 2-1 win over IFK Göteborg. Edward Chilufya is still on the mend following the injury that he sustained in the 1-0 loss to Malmö FF.
