Zambia U-15 national team head coach Chisi Mbewe is targeting a cautious approach in this afternoons match against North Macedonia in their opening game of the second edition of the “Vlatko Markovic” eight-team invitational tournament.
Mbewe is happy with the hard work exhibited by his players and revealed that the boys have now known each other and how to play with one another.
“It was a good outing though the match did not take place nevertheless we had two days’ training with the boys. They in high morale and they looking forward to today’s game,” he said.
” I have observed a lot of teamwork, The boys are now getting to know each other. The boys are responding well. The first game against North Macedonia, it’s a game we need to be cautious and alert from the whistle. It’s the first game and we don’t need to drop points.”
” It’s a great motivation for these young kids to be competing at these tournaments. We just urge FAZ to continue organizing such tournaments so that we expose our young players,” he added.
