Chisi Mbewe and Aaron Kawangu to take charge of the Zambia U-15… As Croatia tournament is set for next month
Red Arrows head coach Chisi Mbewe and Youth Coach Aaron Kawangu will be in charge of the Zambia U-15 national team, The ZamFoot Crew can reveal.
FAZ technical director Lyson Zulu confirmed yesterday in an interview with the ZamFoot Crew after the first assessment session of the Lusaka based players at Barca Academy.
Chipolopolo head coach Milutin Sredojevic will however oversee the trials as they hope to make sure the U-15 is in synch with the Senior national team.
“To make sure that the team is in sync with the senior national team, you have seen the presence of the national team technical bench, Coach Oswald and coach Micho are here working closing with coach Chisi Mbewe of Red Arrows and Coach Aaron Kawangu of Barca who will be in charge of the team. I can assure you that this will be a very competitive team because there is still a lot more talent that is coming from the other provinces,” Zulu said.
Zambia was invited to a U-15 tournament by Croatia which will take place in October were the young Bullets will have their first test of international football.
“We have been invited to play in an invitational tournament in Croatia which will happen from the 23rd to the 29th of September and that’s the reason we have called for this camp,” Zulu said.
Today is day two of the Lusaka trials currently going on at Barca Academy while next week players from Eastern, Central, Copperbelt, and Southern Province will come for trials as FAZ aims to make a combination of the best possible players of this age group.
