Nkana Football Club Chief Executive Officer, Charles Chakatazya has left the club after 2 years and three months of being in the position.

According to information accessed by the ZamFoot Crew, Chakatazya will officially leave Nkana today and has since notified the club.

Chakatazya took over as Nkana Chief Executive Officer from Kenny Mwansa who left the club after his contract expired in July 2018.

I refer to your email of 1st October 2020.

As you no doubt are aware, despite the expiration of my contract, I continued to execute my duties. This was to allow hand over to the new club CEO. However, I have not received notification on the appointment of my successor.

Please note that my last working day is Friday the 20th of November 2020. Kindly notify the Football Association of Zambia, so they can inform CAF and other relevant stakeholders.

I wish the club all the best in its new endeavors and a successful 2020/2021 football season.

Kind Regards
Charles Chakatazya

If I were him ,I would have insisted to stay on for at least 6months to show that you were not just after money.

It doesn’t look good to leave the organization that looked care of you at a time when they need you the most.
    Good luck to you too.
