Change of Venue: Lumwana move to Solwezi for the remainder of the season

North Western Province bases Super League side, Lumwana Radiants will play the remainder of its home games at Solwezi Independence stadium the ZamFoot Crew understands.

According to an internal Memorandum by Zambian Premier League interim Manager Brian Mulenga accessed by the ZamFoot Crew, Lumwana will play their remaining games at Independence Stadium following feedback from other clubs and consultations with the club.

“After receiving feedback from other clubs and consulting with Lumwana Radiants, they shall henceforth be based at Independence Stadium in Solwezi until the close of this season.” read the memorandum.

A memorandum of understanding has also been signed between Kansanshi Dynamos football club and Lumwana Radiants football club to ensure the two clubs share the stadium for the remainder of their home fixtures.

Lumwana Radiants will play their first game at Independence Stadium on Saturday when they welcome Kabwe Warriors in a Week 26 encounter.

Kansanshi Dynamos on the other hand will not be in action this weekend after their games postponed since they have not been training following a directive from the North Western Provincial Health director amid fears of widespread Coronavirus epidemic.
