Estonian side FC Nômme United’s Zambian duo of defender Ricky Chanda and striker Benjamin Chisala were over the weekend crowned Champions of the 2025 Esiliiga Võitja, the second highest league in Estonia.
Nômme have now been promoted and will play in the Estonian top-tier, Meistriliiga (Known as A. Le Coq Premium League for sponsorship purposes), next season after clinching the league title.
Chanda was instrumental for Nômme as he made 33 appearances, scoring 7 goals and providing 4 assists while playing as a centre-back.
Chisala, who joined Nômme from Athletico Lusaka only last August, made an immediate impact as he scored 9 goals in 10 appearances in which he also delivered 3 assists.
