Zanaco off to Tunisia to face Stade Gabisien

Zambia’s representatives in the CAF Confederation Cup Zanaco yesterday left for Tunisia where they will play Stade Gabisien in the return leg of the second round of the CAF competition.

Earlier on Friday, coach Numba Mumamba named his 20 man squad with no major surprised as he carried the same team that drew 1 – 1 in the first leg.

Zanaco left on Friday night at 21:25hrs from Kenneth Kaunda International Airport aboard an Emirates airlines flight.

The team will spend a day in Dubai before connecting to Tunis on Sunday morning and expected to arrive in Gabes later in the afternoon.

Gabesien carry an away goal advantage into the second leg after a 1-all draw at Lusaka’s Nkoloma stadium on April 9.

Zanaco will have to win away or at least draw with more than one goal to advance to the penultimate round of the group stage.
