Zambia’s representatives in the CAF Confederation Cup Zanaco yesterday left for Tunisia where they will play Stade Gabisien in the return leg of the second round of the CAF competition.
Earlier on Friday, coach Numba Mumamba named his 20 man squad with no major surprised as he carried the same team that drew 1 – 1 in the first leg.
Zanaco left on Friday night at 21:25hrs from Kenneth Kaunda International Airport aboard an Emirates airlines flight.
The team will spend a day in Dubai before connecting to Tunis on Sunday morning and expected to arrive in Gabes later in the afternoon.
Gabesien carry an away goal advantage into the second leg after a 1-all draw at Lusaka’s Nkoloma stadium on April 9.
Zanaco will have to win away or at least draw with more than one goal to advance to the penultimate round of the group stage.

They will get the results in Tunisia…
noo zanaco won’t win in Tunisia. they messed up at home. they will be wired by a big magin
Has ZANACO ever gone beyond this stage in a CAF competition! What makes some people think that they will do it away from home in the Arab world! Stop dreaming. The road has ended! Only teams from CB can manage the seemingly impossible feat!
I dreamt that Zanaco list one nil.
There is always a first and always a last time. ZANACO just have to believe. It can be 1-1 and then go for penalties. It can also be 2-2; 0r 3-3. Or Zanaco can win away. There is nothing impossible in football. Elyo aba lungwana the moment you score them first bala lubana sana.
Go ZANACO Go!!!, From a Warriors Fan.
If it was a copperbelt team we wwere going to have some hope…
