Budo gets down to work as Simba midfielder wants to impress 

New signing Joshua ‘Budo’ Mutale has hit the gym as he started life at his new Simba SC. 

The 22 year old travelled with the team to Egypt for pre-season. 

He is expected to make an impact in midfield as he is seen as a direct replacement for compatriot Clatous Chama, who joined arch rivals Yanga

The diminutive midfielder signed a three year deal having joined from boyhood club Power Dynamos

Domestically, Simba has been in the shadows of Yanga. 

Yanga have dominated the Tanzanian Premier League.

Simba SC have also announced former Orlando Pirates coach Fadlu Davids as their new coach on Friday evening.

“A great teacher is here,” the club announced on its social media platforms.

“The new head coach of Simba SC, Fadlu Davids.”

Davids stepped down from his assistant coach position at Raja Casablanca this past midweek.

He previously served under head coach Josef Zinnbauer, who also recently departed the Moroccan club.
