MTN Super League side, Konkola Blades has sacked head coach Chabby Chabala and his assistant Lewingtone Mujembe.
This is according to a statement by club management that was made available to the ZamFoot Crew.
And the Chililabombwe based club have hired Chewed Mulenga as a care taker. The changes are with immediate effect.
“Following the club having endured it’s worst start to the League of 12 matches and only two victories, The club have terminated the contracts of the two coaches with immediate effect.
In the absence of the two coaches Levy ‘Chabby’ Chabala and Lewingtone Mujembe, Mulenga Chewe will take up a caretaker position and shall be assisted by Steven Kabwe. Chewe had been with the team and his intricate and knowledge of the team, players, and culture of the club should ensure that the club will be in good stead during this period.”
Blades suffered a defeat to Kafue Celtic over the weekend making it three losses in a row.
They have only won 2 games in the league and are in the drop zone with 11 points after 12 matches.
