Former Chipolopolo Boys defender Moses ‘Big Mo’ Sichone has said it takes time to build a formidable team.
“I think Wedson Nyirenda has been there almost a year. In football, building a team needs time.
“It’s not something that you can simply say in s year’s time, you’ll achive the maximum things that you want to achieve in football.
“It needs time. You need to have a concept. For example, what is it that zambia wants to achieve in the next four years?
“Its a process and one actually needs patience. If the association has given Wedson the chance to coach the team, he needs the support and this support like I said earlier on , he needs time to work with the boys.
“Whether there is enough time for the boys to prepare for CHAN, has to do with the plan from the association.
“Seeing the time the tournament is starting, I was told that the team was supposed to go to Mongu but I wouldn’t want to comment or say much about that.. we’re aware that the league just ended so it wouldn’t be a problem for the boys.
“The coaching bench knows what the boys are lacking at the moment so we just have to try and motivate the boys and from the association side, to meet the things they need.
