Barbara Banda nets fourth goal of the season in Shanghai Shengli 1-0 win
Zambian female football sensation Barbara Banda has continued her impressive start to life in the China Taiping CFA Women’s Super League.
Banda scored the only goal of the game as log leaders Shanghai Shengli continued their perfect start to the season making it 3 wins in three games following a hard-fought 1-0 win over Guangdong Meizhou Huijun on Saturday.
Zhang Xin hit the post with her attempt just after the half-hour before the Zambian could take full advantage score the goal that proved to be the difference in the match from a very acute angle.

Defending Champions, Jiangsu Suning suffered their first defeat of the season as Wuhan Jiangda handed them a humiliating 3-0 beating. Beijing BG Phoenix also suffered their first loss of the season losing 2-1 to Changchun Dazhong Zhuoyue who had their first win of the season.
After Saturday’s goal the Copper Queens skipper move to the summit of the goalscorers chart with four goals . She has also assisted twice in the three games.
