Romanian club Astra Giurgiu are looking to bring back want-away Zambian midfielder Fwayo Tembo back to the team after he was banished from the team following a fall-out with club the club owner.
Club President Narcis Răducan told AFP that the team intends to bring midfielder Fwayo Tembo, noting that “it’s a shame” he is not being used since he is still under contract.
Fwayo was ridiculed by club owner Loan Niculae after a league game and the team has not terminated his contract but instead raised a case against him for breach of contract.
“Tembo’s a valuable player, he demonstrated here that he can help this team. It’s true that football is a fickle, disciplinary problems, but he has potential” Răducan said.
“We know that he wants to play again at Astra. We have already started the procedures to obtain a visa to enter the country and all that is needed for him to be able to return. We hope to resolve it as quickly “said Narcis Răducan.
Zambianfootball.co.zm understands that Fwayo’s agent contacted the club to talk about the player’s return to the club but they did not reach an agreement on the terms.
