Arrows confirm players in and out of the club
Red Arrows have confirmed their new acquisitions and the players who have left the club during the just-ended transfer window.
According to a press statement made available to the ZamFoot Crew, The Airmen have acquired eight players, Promoted four new ones and have sent six players out on loan.
“Red Arrows Football Club has concluded the January window transfers with exciting signings that the bench has described as fantastic balanced with young and experienced talent that will positively change and bring a different taste of football and attitude at Nkoloma.”
The new arrivals include Zimbabwean midfielder Tanaka Chinyahara who once featured Hobro IK in the Danish League, Congolese duo of defender Tresor Tshibwabwa Yamba Yamba and striker Alidor Ali Kayembe from Buildcon.
Others are Ugandan international goalkeeper Yasin Mugabi, Lumwana Radiants skipper Allan Kapila and the Kafue Celtics enterprising trio of striker Francisco Mwepu, midfielder Alassane Diarra and forward Mwiza Siwale.
The club has also promoted four players from its developmental team. The players are defender Chiteta Kolombota, midfielder Kafula Mukuka, defender William Phiri and goalie Netson Ndashe.
Meanwhile, Cameroonian defensive Kingpin Elvis Bissong has extended his contract with the Airmen. Bissong says he is excited to remain at Arrows.
“Arrows is my second home and am happy here. God will lift this team soon and surely success is on the way,” Bissong told Arrows media team.
The club has also released Andrew Tololwa, Carrington Gomba, Samuel Ssekamatte, and Daniel Adoko after the expiration of their contracts. Ian Otieno was also released after the club failed to agree on terms with the player and he has since joined Zesco United.
The Airmen have also loaned seven players including Lubinda Mundia, Gift Lukwesa, and Ackim Mumba.
