Action for Zambian players abroad
Several Zambian players were in action over the weekend ahead of the international break.
In DR Congo, Chipolopolo defenders Kabaso Chongo and Tandi Mwape both featured for TP Mazembe who secured a hard-fought 2-1 win over sister club CS Don Bosco. Rainford Kalaba was not included in the matchday squad.
In South Africa, Gamphani Lungu played the first 55 minutes for SuperSport United but he could not help them avoid a 1-0 defeat to Bloemfontein Celtic in the MTN top 8.
Elsewhere, There was no space for Austin Muwowo as Orlando Pirates thrashed Kaizer Chiefs 3-0 to record a 5-0 aggregate and set up a final with Bloemfontein Celtic.
Lazarus Kambole was a second-half substitute.

In Tanzania, Clatous Chota Chama and Rally Bwalya started the Kariakoo derby. Simba and Yanga SC played out to a goalless draw.

In Austria, Midfielder Enock Mwepu put in a full shift but without top goalscorer Patson Daka who is nursing a hamstring injury the team played to a 1-1 draw.
In Belgium, Striker Fashion Sakala played a full ninety minutes for KV Oostende who succumbed to a 3-1 loss in a Belgian Jupiler Pro League encounter.
In Poland, Winger Lubambo Musonda put in a 68-minute shift for Śląsk Wrocław in their goalless draw with Górnik Zabrze.
In Russia, Evans Kangwa limped out with an injury at the start of the second half and was replaced by Sergey Tkachev in Arsenal Tula’s 1-1 draw with Rotor Volgograd.
Midfielder Klings Kangwa put in an impressive full shift.
In Sweden, Emmanuel Banda who is just returning from injury was an unused substitute for Djurgadens IF in their 1-0 loss to AIK.
Edward Chilufya was left out of the matchday squad.
In the United States, Salufyanji Mugala scored a goal for Bethel Pilots in their 3-1 win over Marian University in a Crossroads League Tournament Quarterfinal round match played at Morey Field.
In UAE, Zambian striker Mwape Musonda was featured for the Hatta Club side that was handed a 3-0 hammering in their Arab Gulf League home encounter against Al Nasr.
