The Zambia National team preparation for Saturday’s world cup qualifier against Cameroon has been boosted by the arrival of four European based players.
The quartet includes Patson Daka (Red bull Salzburg), Enock Mwepu (FC Liefering), Edward Chilufya (Djurgardens) and Emmanuel Banda (K.V Oostende).
The four join up with the South African based contingent of skipper Kennedy Mweene (Sundowns), Justin Shonga (Orlando Pirates), Rodrick Kabwe (Cape Town Ajax) and Brian Mwila (Platinum Stars) who are already in camp.
Meanwhile Coach Wedson Nyirenda has dropped Kondwani Mtonga, Lewis Macha and Simon Silwimba due to injury with Napsa Stars defender Solomon Sakala called in.
Zambia plays Cameroun on Saturday in a Group B Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
Arsenal Tula defender Stoppilla Sunzu and Spartak Moscow’s Fashion Sakala are expected later in the evening (Tuesday).

Not comfortable if this midfield is missing Mtonga. That guy is a critical difference maker in winning the ball back in that midfield, without him Mwepu might get over worked. I don’t know any of the other midfielders in that position, but luckily this is pretty much a friendly.
Never watched Samunjopa, but the way Solomon played at under 20, he can play holding midfield for Kondwani.
Emmanuel Banda will fill the gap or Misheck Chaila and this is the time to know who is capable in that position.
Bring back Isaac Chansa.
I agree on Mtonga replacements. it would be good to see if Emmanuel Banda can replicate his u-20 exploits at senior level.Wada should share game time between Ernest Mbewe and young Edward Chilufya on the right wing.
let him start with chaila in place of mtonga
Njondo can play in that position. After-all, his friends from under twenty are in the team and it is just like a friendly game. If he cannot manage try Solomon Sakala to play in defensive midfield. I see Zambia beating Cameron by 4 – 0.
Try Shamujopa, the way he plays at central defense, he can be marvel to watch in the holding mid field role
Full house when it doesnt matter.. chanibaba..but all well..team for the future
Not worth watching the game we are out

We need to see how Mbola is doing as we prepare for Afcon 2019, i feel modern football is going for 3 at the back with two reliable overlapping fullbacks, not silwimba and kapumbu. Defence we can actually build a wall like we had Litana and wawa chongo because solomon, shamujopa, Nyondo, sunzu, muchindu if properly coached can be the best.
Defensive Midfilders we need Nathan Sinkala back in the squad with mwepu ahead of him and power of Augustine Mulenga, skillfull Fashion sakala and emmanuel banda controlling the flow of the game we can become a free scoring team, papa and mwila are very sharp upfront. On spot kicks Kalaba must be reinstalled to the squad.
The coach has already seen. He is busy monitoring these guys from home and abroad.
Defence Ziyo Tembo is another metal we can sharpen to stop Muhammad Sala, or else Egypt will claim the Title in 2019.
Solomon Sakala is not national team material. The U20 team did well not because of him but despite him. He is clumsy and even slower than the aging Mtonga. Mtonga has been a weak link and it is time for him to leave the team. His time is up.
Some of us need to forget past glory players yaaa! am tired of hearing kalaba at kalaba and sinkala we need to be innovative new players need more game time some of these kalabas think they are irreplaceable and they are arrogant because of 2012 afcon we need fresh blood like those from under20 and under17
No problems
All the best to the boys today. But the Coach needs to be professional also. No personal vendettas with players. I feel we could have taken the WC Qualifiers to the wire with Nigeria if he had been not been overlooking certain players because personal issues with these players. AFCON 2019 is not guaranteed as we lost at home to Mozambique already.
