Copper Queens forward Rachel Kundananji was on target in the early hours of Saturday as Bay FC suffered yet another defeat.
Kundananji netted a brilliant header but it was not enough as Bay FC succumbed to their eleventh loss of the season.
A goal from Paige Monaghan and an Emily Menges own goal gave Utah Royals a narrow 2-1 win.
Kundananji has scored 3 goals so far this season.Â
Elsewhere, Barbra Banda put in a full shift for Orlando Pride who secured a 1-0 win as they made National Women’s Soccer League history with the longest unbeaten run, 18 games.
Summer Yates scored the only goal of the game.
