ZamFoot XI: ZSL Week 27 Team of The Week

ZSL Week 27 saw Zanaco maintain top spot, relegation fighters Mufulira Wanderers take a point in Kitwe and Napsa end their winless run. The ZamFoot crew assesses the top performers from the Week.

 

GK. Allan Chibwe (Power Dynamos)
The stopper was all over the show and kept out Rahim Osumanu and Joseph Sitali throughout the game.

RB. Simon Silwimba (Zesco United)
The international defender is showing great quality and commanded a man of the match performance against Zanaco.

 

LB. Clement Mwape (Kabwe Warriors)
Center back played put it position but excelled at left back against Nakambala Leopards.

 

RB. Wayne Museba (Mufulira Wanderers)
The U20 defender Is beginning to grow out of his shell and is more than just a tough contender at the back, he overlaps well and has a decent cross to offer.

LB. Clement Mwape (Kabwe Warriors)
Center back played put it position but excelled at left back against Nakambala Leopards.

CB. Benson Sakala (Power Dynamos)
Such a committed marker, went for every duel and came out with the ball, always willing to challenge the attacker.

CB. Ziyo Tembo (Zanaco)
Played a key role in the victory over Zesco by making vital interventions despite being at fault for the penalty.

 

Week

CM. Fidele Bosandja (Buildcon)
Continued to boss the centre of the park with another near perfect box to box showing for Buildcon.

CM. Joseph Sitali (Mufulira Wanderers)
Well into his 30s the former Power Dynamos man ran circles around the Power midfielders and controlled the centre of the park with ease.

RM. Lameck Silwaba (Nakambala Leopards)
A worthy inclusion for the former Mufulira Wanderers playmaker who ran riot against Kabwe Warriors.

LM. Tapson Kaseba (Green Eagles)
Played behind the forward and assisted Vernacious Mapande from the right side.

ST. Chitiya Mususu (Napsa Stars)
Scored an archetypal poachers brace from the six yard box on both occasions. Grand showing against Forest Rangers.

ST. Chris Mugalu (Lusaka Dynamos)
15 goals now, his double decade is fast approaching. Showing his class very often.

 

Young Player of the Week – Lameck Banda
The u17 player has it all in his war chest from footwork, pace to passing and vision. Really running the show at Nkwazi.

Player of the Week – Chrispin Mugalu
Consistently showing why he is the league top scorer.

Coach of the Week – Numba Mumamba
Made a sharp turn after a huge loss to Nkana by beating Lusaka Dynamos and Zesco United.

    Billy mutale of power dynamos is one other guy who can grow to more dependable center back needs a coach to patch him a bit on some of his lapses other wise good defender who deserves a place in the senior chipolopolo
