Zlatko disappointed by Barclays cup semi-final exit
Zesco United coach Zlatko Krympotic described their Barclays cup semi-final encounter with Napsa Stars as a tough match. The Serbian believes his team was unlucky to lose on post match penalties.
“It’s normal iam very dissapointed but we were unlucky to lose on post match penalties but It was a tough game .The two teams did not create alot of chances,” he said
The defending champions were chasing an unprecedented sixth title having already won the competition five times.
Napsa stars acting head coach Linos Makwaza belives his boys deserved to win.
“Its a great feeling the boys worked hard and deserved the victory. We anticipated to finish the game in regulation time but we had worked on our endurance which paid dividends,” he said.
