This Lazarous Kambole why is he not a member of the KK11, at least like Shonga he can score away from home. I would like to see the partnership of him with either Brian Mwila or Dick Shonga, as both are goal poachers

Brian Mwila is in the process of building up his form, thumbs up

  2. Pundit says:

I don’t understand it seems in Zambia we the soccer fans understand the game particularly the national team better than the coaches be it local(wada) or foreign(Sven).
Because all these guys its like they watch a different league, its like they can’t just see or find the right combinations at the national team. How do you justify omission of Kambole?? How ? Were?
Faz hire a complete coach true professional!

    • Dickson MK says:

Godfrey Chitalu and Alex Chola were making a mark because they used to listen to fans. Even Wada did better when he heeded our call to include u20 players. Fans in Zambia are good coaches. You are on point bro.

  3. Tony mash says:

Zesco did well, but there is no pace in that. Too many old horses. Its not going to be easy for them to pass through t.p mazembe.

Tell me people 7 and chintu left kambole and called Jones lungu of supersport to replace ma fasho,do one needs to be a holder of uefa class what ever to know that the coach is useless, the available strikers after no show sakala was either mwila or kambole.elo ka 7 mind your language l have been told what you said ati zambia is small team, stupid boy google if it will mention that we small moreover when are you leaving?

He really said that Zambia is a small team?? A small team can’t not reach the AFCON finals three times losing to Nigeria 2-1 in 1994 with a new look team, losing to the Zaire Leopards in Egypt 1974 after a replay and finally winning it in 2012. Zambia was third in 1982 after losing 2-1 to the hosts Libya in the semifinals but we went on to thump Nigeria 3-0 to settle for third place. In South Africa we settled for third place after beating Ghana 1-0. We have previously beaten big teams like Algeria, Morocco, Cameroon and Nigeria with big margins (4-0 in Lusaka Morocco beaten) Cameroon (4-1 in Lusaka), Nigeria beaten 5-1 ) Zambia reached the semifinals in the 1990 finals after beating among other teams Cameroon 1-0
Apart from these games we have qualified for the Olympic Games twice in Mexico where we did not play as a result of politics, we were at the USSR Olympic Games and finally the Seoul Olympic games where we reached the ¼ finals
I have left out some of the results
For your information Svend qualifying for AFCON has been very easy for Zambia, and some of us it is not even an achievement but something usual. The fact is you are just not a good coach. With you as coach Zambia teams will fail

Even our top local clubs like Power and Zesco can easily beat the trio of Namibia, Mozambique and G Bissau without problems

those days are gone! what you are talking about is called “past glory”. that will never win you a game. svenson is just telling the truth. he is not interested in your little way of relishing the past when your current strikers cant score on the pitch. what svenson meant is that zambian football is inferior on the continent. which is true. today the likes of namibia make to afcon while zambia is beaten both home and away by mozambique. and namibia is coming to wallop “the whipping boys” again in ndola. zambia is in the ranks of eswatini, lesotho, mauritius etc.
