Zesco going for a double

Zesco United chairman Justin Mumba has reminded the players and the technical bench that they don’t have room for error if they are to win the league. Zesco United won the league in 2015 before finishing second to Zanaco a year later.

“We need to believe in our team like we did last year if we are to win the remaining 8 matches. Our technical bench and players must up to the game as there is no room for error,” Mumba told Zescounitedfc.com

“We just have to aim to win this year league since we came out 2nd last year. As an executive we are confident that the test can rise to the challenge. All what is important is to putting our eyes on what we want to achieve and that’s to win the league.”

He has also cautioned the players against underrating Napsa Stars this coming Saturday when they face them in a Barclays cup semi-final encounter.
