Zanaco to fly out this evening as Numba names 18- man squad for Bolton City clash

Zanaco Football Club Journey in the 2019 CAF Confederations Cup will kick start with an away fixture against Bolton City Youth Club Of Mauritius this Saturday.

To that effect Head Coach Numba Mumamba has picked his 18 Man squad for the encounter. Few Changes have been made to the team that beat Green Eagles in the local league with Taonga Bwembya being a notable miss to the final squad while Souleymanou Moussa and Ernest Mbewe continue nursing thier Injuries and will miss the trip.

Zambia U23 national team shot stopper Mangani Banda who arrived in the country in the early hours of today is also missing on the list after helping the Dream Team overcome Congo Brazzaville to qualify to the 2019 Egypt U23 AFCON.

Toaster Nsabata and Racha Kola are the two options picked for the match. Veteran defender and Captain Ziyo Tembo, Jimmy Nakena, Lawrence Chungu, Belchance Makiese, Tiberius Lombard and Kelvin Owusu make up the defensive options.

Tafadzwa Rusike, Kelvin Kapumbu, Chitya Mususu , Roger Kola and Charles Zulu have all made the cut. Zanaco were on bye in the preliminary round of the tournament while Bolton eliminated Jwaneng Galaxy Of Botswana with a 3-2 Aggregate scoreline.

The Bankers leave for Mauritius this evening at 21:25hrs. The team will fly out from Kenneth Kaunda International Airport (KKIA) aboard Emirates Airways. The plane lands in Dubia at 06:30 tomorrow and the team will connect to Sir S Ramgoolam International Airport Mauritius at 10:05. Expected time of arrival, in Mauritius is 16:40hrs tomorrow 12th September 2019.
