Zanaco arrive in DR Congo ahead of Motema Pembe clash
Sensational Zanaco has arrived in Kinshasa ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup Group C match against DC Motema Pemba.
The Ethiopian Airline flight carrying the team touched down at N’djili International Airport at 23:53 hours local time (00:53 hours, Zambian Time).
And Head coach Numba Mumamba believes his side is professional enough to deal with whatever the hosts will through at them including Superstitious antics.
“The team we have is an experienced side, I think the players have played to their highest level in Africa and I think they are able to handle anything that comes their way even superstitions. They are very aware of such antics and are more than mentally prepared,” Numba told Zanaco Media.
Numba also went on to praise the players’ attitude in training ahead of this crucial encounter.
“Looking at the response from the players since we started preparing for this game, there is positivity from everyone. They are all putting in their best to make sure that they’re ready.”
Zanaco takes on DC Motema Pembe in their opening CAF Confederation Cup Group C match at Complexe Omnisports Stade Martyrs, Kinshasa (DRC) on 1 December.
