Zambia U20 off to Spain for a two week camp

The Zambia U20 national soccer team has left Lusaka for Spain where they camp for two weeks ahead of the 2017 U20 Africa Cup of Nations.

The 24 man squad left Lusaka at 15:00hrs and will be in Spain until 7th February.

The training camp was initially planned for one month but the young Chipolopolo will only be out for two weeks.

While in Spain the team will play practice matches with Las Palmas U-20, Tenerife U-20, Real Madrid U-20 and Barcelona U-20.

On return, Zambia will play an international friendly match against fellow Cosafa team South Africa who have also qualified for the tournament.

The match will be played in Ndola to afford the visitors a chance to familiarize with the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium where they will play their group games.

  1. Some concluded he is crap from the first game that Morocco played. That was after I asked Zambia to judge him tactically. Some borrowed from the popular ” Bola Zigole” statement to place him in an unpopular category of coaches. Judge him again Zambia.

  2. All the Kamanga and Ponga haters please stand up!!!!…..and give even just a bit of credit were its due. This has been good focus and planning around preparation for the tournament by FAZ…well done!!!
