Zambian representatives in the CAF inter-club competitions, Zesco United and Sensational Zanaco failed to make use of home advantage as they dropped points at home.

Congolese forward Jackson Muleka was the hero of the day scoring two wonder strikes leaving Jacob Banda looking hopeless to guide the Five-time Champions to a comfortable 2-1 win. Winston Kalengo scored the consolation goal for the Ndola based outfit.
The Bankers hosted RS Berkane at the National Heroes Stadium looking to record their first win of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.
Zanaco, however, went behind just after 15 minutes, Djibril Cheick Ouattara freaking a header past Toaster Nsabata in the Zanaco goal. Charles Zulu leveled matters ten minutes later with a close-range header finishing off a Guily Manziba pinpoint cross.
Zanaco could have won the match but they were poor in the final third with Manziba as the biggest culprit.
