Zambia U20 end tour of Korea Rep. with game against Honduras
The Zambia U20 national soccer team will tomorrow Thursday wind up their tour of South Korea when they play Honduras in their final game of the Adidas Korea Four Nations Invitation tournament.
The young Chipolopolo still smarting from a 4 – 1 loss at the hands of the Korea Republic will be looking to bounce back to their winning ways.
Coach Beston Chambeshi is expected to make changes to the team that started against Korea but he will be weary that another heavy loss may dumpen the morale in camp.
However, assessing all players should be more on his mind than the result as some players on the team have not had game time yet.
Goalkeeper James Phiri and midfielders Sydney Phiri and Stephen Chulu have all not played at the tournament yet.
Honduras were runners up at the Central American U20 championship which ended on 5th March after they lost on penalties to the eventual champions USA.
They have lost both their games at the Adidas tournament after going down 3 – 2 to Korea before being beaten 2 – 1 by Ecuador.
Honduras will be looking to pick up a face saving win against Zambia on Thursday.
The Zambian team today had its second training session in Jeju, South Korea which is the venue of the game.
This is the stadium where Zambia will play the World Cup Group games against Portugal, Costa Rica and Iran.
The team went through the paces at Seogwipo Soccer Park earlier today.
The game kicks off at 09h00 Zambian time.
