African Champions touch down in FIFA World Cup battle zone
The Zambia U20 national team has arrived in the Korea Republic ahead of the kick off of the FIFA U20 World Cup.
Coach Beston Chambeshi’s 21 man squad welcomed at the Airport by Zambians living in Korea led by Ambassador Mumba Kapumpa when they arrived about 1200hrs Zambian time.
The African U20 Champions completed a week long camp in Spain yesterday and flew from Tenerife through Madrid, before heading to Dubai, where they took the final leg of the journey to Korea.
In Spain the team played three matches beating Tenerife B side 3-0 before drawing with Deportivo Marino 2-all and concluded the tour with a 4-0 bashing of Las Palmas.
Zambia play the first game in Korea against Portugal on Sunday which kicks off at 0700hrs Zambian time and will be live on SS4.
