Zambia off to winning start in Cosafa Women Championship

The Zambia national women soccer team got their 2018 Cosafa Women Championship campaign to a win start when they beat Lesotho 2 – 0 on Thursday afternoon.

The Zambian lasses were deserving winners after dominating the game which saw them take the lead in the 35th minute through Misozi Zulu.

Eventual lady of the match Barbara Banda double Zambia’s lead in the second half.

In the game of the group, Cameroon, the highest ranked team at the tournament ran over Mozambique by an 8 – 1 scoreline.

    This team looks better because the girls are trying to be who the are.. girls.
    We were used to see with haircuts like boys. then watching them copy running like Kalaba or Fashion Sakala, with attitudes like Cletus Chama. Girls pulling shorts to their knees like Shonga, how can they run really?

    We hope the new coach Beatrice will find time for the girls to pleat hair on each other.
