Zambia has a bunch of good players says Guinea Bissau
Guinea Bissau coach Baciro Candé has said he is wary of the threat of posed by Zambia.
And Cande said his side have forgotten about the win they inflicted on the Chipolopolo in 2016 as they booked qualification to the 2017 African Cup of Nations at the expense of George Lwandamina’s Zambia.
The two countries clash at National Heroes Stadium tonight in Cameroon 2019 African Cup of Nations Group K.
“The game is very important for Guinea Bissau. Since the last game we played Zambia we have done our Job. It is a very important game but not the decisive One, ” He said
” We are not thinking about just keeping our lead. We are trying to win every game and since Zambia is a very good team we will try to bring our best game,”
” 2017 is not the same as 2018 so we can’t expect the two games to be the same. Just because we won the last meeting between us and Zambia does not guarantee that we will win this game,” Cande said.
Cande has also done his home work by scouting on Zambia’s youth sides.
The Guinea Bissau coach is aware that Patson Daka, Fashion Sakala and Enock Mwepu are vital cogs in the team.
” Zambia is an excellent team and I was told that the U20 has very good players. Am expecting a bunch of good players. This game is important to us and our trainings have been going well, ”
“There people sorting that out and the players will arrive today,”
” Africa is one family and we feel at home, ”
” Zambia has excellent players and one of them is Kalaba who I met in Portugal and know him well. Zambia has good midfielders and a powerful strike force. So we will prepare our defence well,”
“Iam expecting alot of work from my players who I expect to be at their full capacity. I also expect a positive result,”
” There is no advantage because of players playing abroad but what matters is the skills the players have. Zambia is well known in football and Guinea has just appeared now so we will do our best,”
