Zambia FIFA U20 World Cup Squad – Sunzu in, Sakulanda out

Zambia on Friday unveiled the final 21 man squad that will represent the country at the FIFA 2017 U20 World Cup to be played in South Korea.

Beston Chambeshi named five foreign based players including Ngosa Sunzu who was not part of the team that won the CAF 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.

Other new entrants in the squad are Boston Muchindu of Nkana and Musonda Siame who plays for Kafue Celtic.

    • Luapula bize says:

Sakulanda failed to prove himself at the BIG STAGE(Africa cup). Other than a few flashes when he came in as a sub against Guinea, aswell as shinning at the COSAFA Cup in SA, he failed to impose himself well at the U20 Afcon. He looked shaky; Rarely completed his passes well. Terrible shooting at goal. One could see that he wasn’t good enough for any big stage at the moment. HE EXHIBITED LOW CONFIDENCE. Someone needs to help him work on the aspect of self belief. That’s my opinion.

Equally Muchanga, failed to shine, he has been picked based on past glory, his position is competitive, he can only find a place when there are injuries in the Team

  5. discipline says:

Kaili he was told, coach,to replace saku with that chap from kafue Celtic so pathetic
