  1. Kasama Boy says:

We need to learn the facts and edit the texts properly. Here are a few hitches.

From the text: Zambia first entered the race for qualification in 1970 but did not qualify until 1974 . In their maiden appearance, The copper Bullets went all the way to the final losing to Zaire ( Now Known as DR Congo) .

The match is the only AFCON final in history to have been played twice . The two teams drew 2-2 at Saad Gamar Stadium in Libya before a Ndaye Mulamba brace won it for Zaire side 2-0 and 4-2 on aggregate at the Cairo International Stadium in Egypt.

The facts: Zambia first entered the AFCON in 1972 and did not qualify. Zaire Leopards beat us 4-2 in the second round. This was won by Congo Brazzaville
The twice played final between Zambia and the Zaire Leopards was held in 1974 in Egypt not Libya.

Kamanga must go. Kalu must come back.

  3. Hunter the man says:

Then south africa which joined football in 1990 is the best of all.

    • Luapula Bize says:

I was thinking the same. South Africa only joined yesterday and they are way above Zimbabwe, Kenya, Uganda and the like. They need to be respected.

  4. Muchofe says:

And all those team above Zambia in terms this ranking gives us headache whenever we meet, including Morocco.. That’s actually what I would consider to be a permanent performance ranking for African teams as far as am concerned.
