Zambia 2017 U20 AFCON: FAZ release fixtures as Heroes Stadium to host Group A

Zambia will face Guinea in the open game of the Zambia 2017 U20 Championship at Lusaka’s Heroes Stadium, on February 26, 2017 after the opening ceremony.

The hosts match will be followed by another Group A match between Egypt and Mali in what will be the first double header at the 50, 000 capacity.

Ndola’s Levy Mwanawasa Stadium will be home to Group B countries. Cameron, South Africa, Sudan and Senegal will be based on the Copper belt.

The final Group games will be played at the same time but the host nation’s final game against Egypt will be played at Heroes Stadium.

The semi finals will be played on 8th and 9th March, and the only chance Copper belt fans might get the chance to watch the junior Chipolopolo is if Zambia will come second in the group.

The third/fourth playoff will be act as curtain raiser to the final as both games will be played at Heroes Stadium on 12th March.
