Wins for Warriors, Maite & Blades as Kalampa demolish Nakonde

Winger Shadreck Musonda scored a hatrick to help Nkana win in Kitwe.

Chitiya Mususu continued his fine scoring streak in Napsa Stars’ demolishing of struggling City of Lusaka.

Big guns Power Dynamos and Lusaka Dynamos had mixed results while in the drop zone three teams won.

Mufulira Wanderers are out of the drop and Kabwe Warriors picked up their fourth win of the season.

In Chililabombwe, Konkola Blades stunned Power Dynamos.

Nkana 4-0 Real Nakonde – Musonda hat trick

Shadreck Musonda might be linked with Ndola side Buildcon but the winger is fully focused Nkana at the moment. Musonda has now taken his tally to 8 goals for the season.

The tricky winger hit a rare hat trick to help Kalampa to a 4-0 win. Sean Odour scored an own goal.

Nkana moved to 49 points on the third position and just a point behind leaders Zanaco and Green Buffaloes who in action on Sunday.

Shadreck Musonda was named man of the match. He also went home with the match ball

City of Lusaka 0-3 Napsa Stars – Mususu on target again

It was a routine win for the pensioners at Nkoloma Stadium.

After failing to register a victory in nine games, it seems like their mojo is back with their consecutive win.

WInger Chitoshi Mukuma put Napsa Stars ahead before defender Alex Mwamba scored from the spot kick.  The in form Chitiya Mususu grabbed his third goal in as many games to round of the helpless City of Lusaka.

Napsa Stars are 7th on the log while City of Lusaka are bottom.

Chitiya Mususu has taken his tally to 6 goals of the season

Choma Eagles 0-2 Buildcon – Ugandan veteran striker keeps scoring

Goals from Akakubelwa and Ugandan striker Geofrey Sserukuma propelled the Ndola big spenders to a victory. Sserukuma now has 5 goals since July after he joined as free agent.

Buildcon move to 43 points.

Konkola Blades 1-0 Power Dynamos – Ng’onga, Luka Lungu assault Blades fans

Power Dynamos’ title credentials are in limbo and their players’ off the pitch behaviour will come into public domain.

Konkola blades stunned the Kitwe giants with a 1-0 victory in Chililabombwe.

After the match, strikers Alex Ng’onga and Luka Lungu couldn’t handle the verbal abuse from the home side fans and ended up assaulting a fan.


Nchanga Rangers 1-2 Kabwe Warriors – Njaji-ni-njaji Boys win relagation dog fight match

Striker Bindu scored a brace in Chingola as he helped Kabwe Warriors to a 2-1 win over Nchanga Rangers. Warriors are now a point above the drop zone while Rangers are still in there.


Mufulira Wanderers 3-1 Nkwazi – Maite move out of the drop zone for the first time

Veteran striker Mathews scored a brace and Zambia Under-20 winger Chrispin Musole added the third as Maite stunned Nkwazi.  Davy ‘Spacio’ Kalandanya got a consolation for Nkwazi.

The Police outfit failed to build on their 1-0 midweek victory over Zanaco.

Elsewhere Nakambala Leopards and Lusaka Dynamos played to a goalless stalemate in Mazabuka

    I think it is time to build better and new stadia! Those Gabbitas Stadium (Nchanga) and Scrivener Stadium (Nkana) look offal! Please! Too ancient!
