Where is Zlatko Krympotic?

Zesco United head coach Zlatko Krympotic is set to miss this afternoon’s week 32 league encounter between his side and Power Dynamos.

According to Zesco United’s team sheet for today’s match against Power Dynamos obtained by zambianfootball.co.zm, first assistant coach  Tenant Chembo will be incharge of today’s match.

This comes amid rumours of his sacking after Zesco United were eliminated from both the CAF Confederation cup and Barclays cup by Supersport United and Napsa Stars respectively.

Whether it is simply a typing error, reasonable absence or indeed his time at the helm of the Ndola giant’s has come to an end, will only be known later on.

Chembo has kept faith in the team that beat Lusaka Dynamos three nil on Saturday. Jacob Banda keeps his place between the sticks.

Simon Silwimba, Fackson Kapumbu, Ben Adama Bahn and David Owino Odhiambo make up the back four.

Lazarous Kambole fails to make the starting eleven despite getting on thhe scoresheet against Lusaka Dynamos. Sabamukuma has also kept his place in midfield.

    He is not a good coach, ZESCO could have been a better team internationally not what we saw. If Numba mumamba is the one who had the ZESCO team they could have conquered Africa. Supersport united have no better players compared to what ZESCO has but coaching stuff is good.

    I admire the level of ambitiousness shown by Zambian clubs these days, but did they honestly expect a coach to turn this club into world beaters in one season? Coaches and managers need time to make teams their own. Look at Manchester City. They went from not doing well last season, but are now almost unbeatable.
