  1. I think Wada needs to show maturity here. You stated that the boy apologised immediately after the game, no need to get personal. There must other forms of punishment that he can come up with other than dropping the boy. This is too draconian for the boy. If you accepted the apology, then all is forgiven. lekeni umwaice ateye.

    • Pungwa, when my son does something wrong and I take away his Xbox privileges, saying sorry doesn’t get him playing again…at least not immediately!! The hope is that when you are grounded you have the chance to reflect on your deeds and be genuine about improving behaviour. Am sure the coach ‘will bring back boys’ when serious games come our way otherwise kuya bebele!

  2. This Chama boy is overrated by Soccer Analyst….I think Katiba and Ngwenya can equal his abilities….. let WADA do his job….

  3. Is this on an international friendly day? Why not call in some of the pros or the Under-20 boys from abroad if that is the case.

Honestly think Mwepu, Patson, and especially Fashion Sakala can really contribute to the senior national team

  4. Wada is to personal and unprofessional how he handle matters chama apologies and he accepted his apologies why dropping experience players who can contribute to the national team Wada swallow your pride call fwayo and chama

  5. Ba Wada beniko serious The boy apologized and You accepted call Chama and Fwayo. We need a strong team from which We can pick a team which You can beef up with the U20 team players from abroad.

  6. WADA naimwe!!! This WADA should learn to be a good Coach and professional! Note that your fellow Coaches select players on merit and not on grudges. Your compatriots WON us trophies namely; BESTON QUICK SILVER won Cosafa under trophy, Africa Cup Under 20 trophy and reach the under 20 World Cup Quarter finals. NUMBA MUMAMBA WON us the most recent COSAFA Under 17 trophy! But why are you not sincere with the best players! Chambeshi picks players on merit and that is why he achieved a lot! What are reasons why FWAYO is not included this time? Triple “CCC ” apologised when did the word ” apology ” means keep fighting? It seems you are a let down Coach? The only results you acquired in a Serious Competative game was 1:1 draw against Cameron, Consequently your pendulum is below 40%! You have never won us any trophies!!!! nor matches!!! Who will understand you if you drop BRIAN MWILA &JUSTIN SHONGA from squad! Just because you have personal problems with them???? What you are doing as the Coach that’s not what us the fans expected from you!!!!!!

  7. I support Wada wada too, remember Clifford Mulenga, we should be sure of our comments otherwise they can haunt us.however, discipline is discipline, whether cletous is liked or not.remember Herve renard on Clifford and the insults he recieved

  8. So how many times should CCC apologize cos he’s already done…..or should we assume that his mischief has led to a suspension from national duties. IIn my view, he’s acknowledged his reckless behaviour n apologize d, so give a second chance.

  9. I am amazed at some of the useless comments asking Wada to call triple C. …u clowns don’t get it….football is a team sport…..team sports require discipline. ….If u have a player who does not respect the coach or his team mates what do u think that does to the rest of the team? It’s very important that the other players appreciate the significance of respecting the coach and your team mates…triple C behaviour last time was plain stupid. ….His not even as good as you booties want to make us believe .

  10. CC may have apologized but if you watched what happened when the ref booked a player on the bench( Lusaka dynamos vs. power dynamos – Arthur Davies stadium July 29/30) CC was getting involved in what was a heated and unnecessary dispute with the ref. Once the fans starts to become unruly trouble erupts in the stands. The spectators were already unhappy with Fwayo Temba , not that this is an excuse as Fwayo has every right to go where he wants.

  11. Okay well noted and thanks @Anita, @soccerguru & @Jason! Triple “CCC ” was wrong and he apologized!!! I would like you to say something on FWAYO’S omission from the squad! Because I remember in SWAZILAND when Mr. WADA was interviewed by the journalist he said FWAYO is still part of the Team and he Will be required in the next assignment! Anywhere! We NEED victories in serious matches!!!!!

  12. @Nchepeshi the name “WADA ” comes from WEDSON! So now the people started calling him WADA WADA!

For me I get discouraged to go to the Stadium when the Senior National Team is playing???? Because of the Coach’s very poor selection of players and because of such he is failing to matches even at home ! Note that am not the only one who is not happy with the way WADA is choosing the players!!!! Example The Mozambique game was poorly attended ! Andrew Kamanga! I think sit your coach down, Talk to him properly !

  13. Mmmmmmm!!! This WADA Coach seems not to be listening to us! He thinks he is special with his winless stretch!

  14. World cup could be too late. Prepare well for the Chan is the real deal. maintain the temple WADA. We have taken off. We will just be winning at every level now. Period! Cletus can join us later.

  15. In life we need to learn to behave in a way that makes it easy to work with or be supervised by other people. The moment you begin to put your ego ahead of others, that’s the moment you begin to dig your own grave. Our players should be told this. I was at the stadium when Cletus left straight to the dressing room. before this even was Kalaba who know who will do it next. My philosophy is to work with the people who are willing to support the team vision and not anyone who feels they are too special than the others. In life and so in sports, you first make a name and then you can do wacky things and people will defend you. But if you`re a player who is ‘substuteable’ then the least thing you can do is thank the coach even giving you the opportunity to start, coz you might as well be on the bench for the entire match. The country is in a crisis to build a solid senior team, If I were in Cletus` boots I would seize every opportunity to impress both on and off the pitch. Our players need mentorship other we need to expand our hospitals to treat patients for heart failure and post- football match disorders. Wada also needs to prove what he is made of, we have already proved at lower levels. Soccer fans don`t eat excuses- it costs to be at the stadium and it cost more to nurse a loss especially at home ground.

  16. EXCELLENT @CHINTHU CHINTHU UMWENE!
    I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU!
TO ADD ON: I should say there’s a wrong trend going on in Zambian football; if left unchecked it will trigger more problems & I conquer with my colleagues @Soccerguru, @Jason & @Anita who posted and said there’s is a lot of indiscipline our game ! The same thing that the so called Captain Rainford Kalaba did when he was substituted & You let him go unpunished; What do you think other players could be doing? Is to emulate the captain!!! The punishment should start with KALABA first!!! When blaming triple ” C” also rebuke KALABA who started it! DON’T CALL INDISPLINE KALABA TO THE SQUAD & KA CHAMA OUT 50:50 ! DISCIPLINE IS CARDINAL IN FOOTBALL!!! I feel I can contribute as 1000 times as I can because we want things to be in order and the Coach not to be too personal with things!!!!

    • True! ba Kamba. We need to do better. There is still so much to be won. We can`t be content with what our boys have achieved this far.

  17. KIKIKIKIKI @CHINTHU UMWINE!! “Soccer fans don’t eat excuses”! You have made my day to end very well whilst am working!!!!!!

    • Zoona aba Yellow- I had to drop off from the vehicle at Heroes to which the game. I was coming from Ndola. The game was average much of the time and then you see the very person that you`ve come to watch going straight to the dressing room after the substation- Am I like what?

  18. Wada will not take us to AFCON or WC. We are going to be embarrassed by this Coach. I LOST confidence in him a long time agao. He is clueless.

  19. If you are going to instill discipline in this way, then at least announce in one way or the other that the player is being punished as a result of that incidence, well in advance, more importantly, tell the player ( i hope Wada spoke to Cletus )

  20. @Sibs! True, Your observations is my observation as well! I can recall that when he was a new coach almost everyone liked him because his declaration of intent was clear whereby he assembled a very good team of which no soccer fan complained over his decisions.
    Now that is history????????

  21. I think if wada loses the Algeria game at home he must pack his bags to Mozambique and be replaced by Best on chambeshi and numba mumamba

  22. YES! @BENHADAD! SURELY HE HAS NEVER WON ANY SERIOUS GAME WHETHER AT HOME OR AWAY! INSTEAD HE HAS KEPT ON FIGHTING AGAINST THE PLAYERS & BRING DISORDER IN TEAM! I FEEL THAT I CAN ASK FAZ WHY ALLOWING THIS WADA WADA TO KEEP FIGHTING PLAYERS INSTEAD OF BRINGING THEM TOGETHER & KEEP WINNING THE SERIOUS MATCHES? THE COACH IS THE PROBLEM HERE BECAUSE I HAVE NEVER HEARD OR SEEN A ZAMBIAN PLAYER GOES STRAIGHT TO THE DRESSING ROOM AFTER BEING SUBSTITUTED; PROTESTING! WE DON’T NEED FOOTPOLITICS WITH PLAYERS! LET’S GIVE THIS JOB TO CHAMBESHI.
