Vandenbroeck names his provisional 23 man squad
Chipolopolo Boys coach Sven Vandenbroeck has named a 23 man provisional squad from the 13 matches he has watched since he took over on July 10.
Meanwhile Zesco United players have been omitted because of the Ndola side’s involvement in the CAF Champions League.
The Belgian has not roped in a single player from the in form Green Eagles but that is largely due to the fact that he has not watched the Choma side.
“It is not a definitive list, because I will have more than one camp. I will try to make a pool of 30 to 35 players. From there we will go to 23,” he said.
The local camp is expected to run for three days every week in Lusaka.
Later on, the former Cameroon assistant coach will include the foreign based stars.
Zambia face Namibia and Guinea Bissau in the Cameroon 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
