Vandenbroeck drops Ng’onga, Brian Mwila

Zambia coach Sven Vandenbroeck has dropped strikers Alex Ng’onga and Brian Mwila of Power Dynamos and Buildcon respectively for this week’s camp.

Ng’onga and Mwila have been replaced by Zesco United’s Lazarous Kambole and Joseph Phiri of Red Arrows.

The other casualties from the last week’s group are goalkeeper Charles Mutanga, Liason Thole, Gideon Sichone, Collins Sikombe and Larry Bwalya while Benson Sakala is injured.

There’s a recall for Zanaco duo Toaster Nsabata and Ernest Mbewe.

CHAN 2009 bronze winning full back Jimmy Chisenga is back in the squad.

The new comers are George Chaloba, Webster Muzaza and Lameck Silwamba.

The team has set base in Lusaka and will camp for three days.

Zambia play Namibia in September in the Cameroon 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifiers in Windhoek.
