  1. Seeing the highlights dors not bring confidence. Lucky goal from Chismaba and chance after chance for Uganda. Defence looks like playground.

  2. If carefully look at the highlights, you will agree with me that Uganda dominated the match. Again, the goal by Chisamba was an own goal, a fluke goal for that matter. I am not trying to be negative, but being factual and this still calls for worry. I hope all will be well on saturday.

  3. I also took sometime to scrutinize the video. I must admit that the goal looks srapy according to some of you but that is an opnion. It is so because of the circumstances that resulted into the goal. In fact that goal came about because there was some pressure mounted by Chipolopolo. That together with the power that Chisamba exerted culminated in a failed clearance hence a deflection and goal.Is that a case of being lucky. No No No. Think again.

  4. What do people what for real? We played better but we lost! They didn`t play well but they won! they won by a lone goal but it was a fluke. Win ni Win regardless of fluke goal, didn`t play well. Don`t always look for faughts for truly you will find them. Personally, am ok even if Chipolopolo qualified to the World Cup with fluke goals. That same goal from Chisamba, if it was Ronaldo or MESSI, the same people would have thought there was creativity from the striker- Muntu che? Awe mwandi. The team is still under construction hence no jelling. But if the chipante pante can give us goals- then thats what we need. Than pretending to play classy full of mistakes and no goals. Waiting for another fluke goal on Saturday. In fact just one so that the game ends ZMB 1 : CMR 0.

    • Well said @Chintu Umwene, but unfortunately its almost now like a culture, almost like a national thing these days to be negative about everything even negative about winning a game of football. Its a terrible spirit amongst us Zedians, always looking for fault never celebrating achievement. I still cant believe how people can still come on this blog and say Zambia’s 2012 win was a fluke. Even with such a historic achievement we still choose to somehow come up with negative rhetoric. How I so wish we just had a culture of celebrating achievement.

      • I agree with you Big Steve. Even a child who is learning to walk we encourage them even when the make minor progress. Our team is like coming from a sick bed. They need all the encouragement and not constant discouragement. Even in our work, its not every day that we are at our best, but we keep believing that the next day will be better. With such a positive mind surely things get to work out. But not in this country. We are expected to perform miracles when there is no serious financial support. And now even just moral boosting from fans which is free is being denied to these hard working guys. Lets be serious and lets be proud of who we are coz no one will do it for us. You can`t go to shoprite to buy morale, Morale kuyipangila wemwine!

  5. THE Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has commenced investigations into Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) president Andrew Kamanga’s alleged abuse of office.
ACC spokesperson Timothy Moono said in an interview in Lusaka yesterday that the commission has made inquiries into Kamanga’s case.
“All I can say is that we have made progress in handling the abuse of authority case and once concluded, we will let the public know about our findings soon.

  6. Many of you will be saying a lot of rubbish against the Chipolopolo team come Saturday night. People have the right to express themselves as long as as there is no insults. You can’t dictate what people say. Under what authority are you standing on? You hypocrites, you the same people who utter unprintables when Zambia loses. Just mind your own businesses.

  7. How many times have been on this forum people. I point out things the way i am seeing it so i can be constructive. Also not delusional about our prostpects and challenges going into the game.
