Turmoil at Power Dynamos as Dan Kabwe’s assistants face scrutiny
Power Dynamos will be looking to ring changes to their technical bench after an indifferent start to the season that has seen them only win one game out of the three games played so far.
Insiders at Arthur Davies Stadium have told the ZamFoot Crew that the axe is most likely to fall on the two assistant coaches Alex Namazaba and Anderson Phiri.
“Those two Coaches Alex Namazaba and Anderson Phiri are a pair of yes men who have shunned to question their head coach or make their own views heard. We will be doing something about this,” the source said.
The ZamFoot Crew has also been informed that the head coach Dan Kabwe was heard questioning some of his senior players and coaching staff whose input he felt was insufficient.
It is understood that Kabwe was infuriated by the result ( 1-1 draw against Nkwazi) and the officiating after Stanley Hachiwa appeared to be tolerating the negative football antics and time wasting tricks of Nkwazi while making a number of wrong calls that went against the home side.
After the frustrating draw at the Arthur Davies Stadium; Power Dynamos fans, officials and executives were left red faced and visibly livid.
On Saturday fans were heard passing comments that have also questioned the commitment of assistants stating that the two could be plotting to see the head coach fail to find themselves with an opportunity to head the technical bench in the foreseeable future.
