Three in three for Kangwa as he scores in Gaziantespor loss

Chipolopolo striker Evans Kangwa scored his third goal in three appearances but it was not enough to help his club Gaziantespor win as they went down 4 – 3 to Alanyaspor.

Kangwa playing only his second game after he scored a brace for his team on 1st October was played on the right side of attack in a 4 3 3 formation.

The 24 year older attacker was sidelined for four weeks and only returned to action last weekend to play 65 minutes.

Against Alanyaspor, Kangwa gave his team the lead in the 40th minute when he sneaked in at the back post to neatly finish with a close tap in from a freekick to make it 2 – 1. This was after his team had gone down with a second minute goal.

Gaziantespor paid for their poor defending and conceded 3 times in the second half and only had a 90th minute face saver to show for in the second Stanza.

The former Nkana player has scored 3 times in a total of 6 appearances since moving to Turkey.

He is expected to play a role when Zambia play Uganda in an international friendly match on Tuesday before the Chipolopolo head to Cameroon.

  1. Sad news the boyz will continue playing without a coach.. Nyirenda is the worse ever zambian national team coach . He failed to drill the team . He was in camp with the team. And their opponents Zimbabwe never trained for that match .. He is an idiot.. All the players who played against zim except fayo they are useless they do not deserve to put on chipolopolo jersey .. Zambia they have over twenty foreign based players who can deliver for the national team not this bunch of useless players. I watched tha match some of the players they lack basic application.

    • I think its unfair to call Wada Wada useless just yet. This was just a friendly played in Zim. The new coach is still looking for his players to fit in his game plan. Going by your name as Zim bullet, it looks like that fossil called Mugabe has been feeding you a lot of feces there in Zimbanbwe, so I am not surprised at your analysis on our current coach. Give the man some time to build his team, the corrupt government refused to help pay for a foreign coach, Andrew Kamanga seen to be clueless on how to raise money to pay for the foreign coach, local league is pathetic, so what the heck do you want the coach to do? He is working with what is available right now. Again give the man time to build the team and quit running your mouth as though you can do any better than he is doing.
