Three new faces as Nyirenda names 30 for local camp
Chipolopolo trainer Wedson Nyirenda has named a 30 man squad of local players to enter residential camp this sunday as he starts preparation for next months COSAFA castle cup .
According a list released to FAZfootball.com by team Manager Hastings Ndovi and accessed by Zambianfootball.co.zm, Myirenda has included three new players in his squad.
The players are Kabwe Warriors defender Tandi Mwape, Kitwe United’s Emmanuel Chabula and New Monze Swallows striker Peter Nyirenda. Power Dynamos defensive midfielder Benson Sakala has also made the squad.
Chipolopolo were runners up at the last tournament and will face the Brave Warriors of Namibia at the quarter final stage were both teams will join the tournament.
The tournament will take place between 27th May and 10th June in Limpompo, South Africa.
