Thole, Otieno and Bahn in, Apanane snubbed as Nkana register 25 for Champions League

Twelve time Super League champions, Nkana yesterday successfully registered a 25 member squad for the 2018 CAF Champions league.

Official registration of players for the Preliminary Rounds closed last night Thursday, November 1, 2018.

The list has three new faces namely Duncan Otieno, Ben Adama Bahn and Lyson Thole. Otieno was signed from AFC Leorpads in Kenya a few days ago.

Bahn has been gotten on a year long loan with Austin Muwowo heading the other way but it seems Muwowo wants to stay at Forest Rangers were he spent last season on loan.

Thole’s signature is believed to have been captured yesterday but some sources indicate that the deal was done without the parent club, Kabwe Warriors.

Congolese left back Diego Apanane is missing from the list. According to ZamFoot crew sources the defender wanted a salary increment but Nkana did not move an inch.

This seems to have frustrated the former Forest Rangers man who is reportedly seeking for a move away from the club.

It seems the club as also extended loan deals for Red Arrows duo of midfielder Shadreck Malambo and striker Festus Mbewe who have also been registered.
