Chipolopolo team manager reassigned not fired

Chipolopolo coach Sven Vandenbroek has clarified the issues surrounding the team manager Hastings Ndovi.

According to media reports on Friday claimed Ndovi had been relieved of his duties at the senior national team but coach Sven said Ndovi had been reassigned and not dropped.

” Yes we have made some changes. The world is changing in the modern technology so some people had problems with the modern technologies that’s why we rescheduled the task of the team manager. We did not drop him to be clear but he will be reassigned in his tasks around the team,” he said.

The Copper bullets beat Guinea Bissau by two goals to one on match day 3 at Heroes Stadium on Wednesday thanks to goals from Stophila Sunzu and Justin Shonga.

The two teams will once again go head to head on Sunday away in Bissau on match day 4.

I always why that guy Ndlovu.
We used to have a Solly Pader as team manager.
Appoint of those unnamed 2 white guys in the technical team.
I agree with Sven, they need aim higher!! Hasting Ndlovu maybe good at using a pen, and talking to Travel agents.
These days we don’t need travel agents to arrange trips for us, we use Expedia!!!

  3. Pundit says:

Well said Nostradamus.. That role in my opinion has expired team manager to manage what? What will some of these faz delegation be doing? Just to travel with the team??
Times have changed guys no free money, cost effectiveness is the way to go team manager should also double as one of the assistants hence that position requires football tech and tactical acumen!

  4. Jimmy Siamupa says:

Mweene is still a good goal keeper but has a weakness of being casual with back passes. At all costs advise defenders to stop back passes to Mweene. Such a mistake has repeated itself. It usually raises our blood pressure.
Lubambo Musonda too should be accurate, missed a lot of chances. Goal difference can be our relief. See how results are in our group.
Substitutes that were made when we hosted Guinea Bissau were not necessary apart from that of Parson Daka.
